Beginning next Sunday, the Kansas City Star is making changes to its MoneyWise section, according to an item in the Sunday paper.
Steve Rosen writes, “For starters, the redesigned section that will roll off The Star’s new printing press will appear in the more traditional broadsheet style rather than the current tabloid design. And thanks to later print deadlines, MoneyWise will be easier to find in the Sunday bundle — coming right after the A section, Local and Sports.
“Like the rest of the paper, MoneyWise will be flush with more color.
“The content will still revolve around personal finance and pocketbook topics like the popular Money Makeover feature. But the section will include more business news elements too, a week in review/week ahead feature, and an in-depth story on a hot topic of the week. Investors will also find an expanded package of special stock and mutual fund indicators, and the regional stock performance list for the week.”
