Amity Shedd has rejoined the Southeast Missourian newsroom and will be reporting on area business and governmental actions.
A story on its website states, “Shedd’s career with the Southeast Missourian began in 2012, when she started on the copy desk as a copy editor. Shedd took on the business reporter role in 2013.
“She said she is excited to be back in reporting.
“Editor Rick Fahr said Shedd’s experience will be especially valuable to the newsroom.
“‘Amity has covered all sorts of stories in her career and has already hit the ground running. She is a talented and versatile writer, and she enjoys talking with people. All of those things make her a great community journalist,’ he explained.”
