San Diego’s ABC station KGTV-TV Ch. 10 has promoted James Gorcos to assistant news director. Recently, he held the post of executive producer.
Gorcos has been with the California station for more than nine years. He also worked as a managing producer at KATU-TV Ch. 2, an ABC affiliate in Portland, Ore., and as a senior producer at KOB-TV Ch. 4, an NBC outlet in Albuquerque, N.M.
Gorcos graduated from Butler University in Indiana.
