This editor needs to be able to juggle news and enterprise in many different forms. You will organize coverage of major data releases like the monthly jobs report, plan out features that help explain how the economy is faring as tariffs, interest rates, inflation and the markets take their toll on consumers and businesses.
The editor will work as part of a team led by an editor in Washington, and may be called on to edit coverage of the Federal Reserve, Treasury Department, I.R.S. and other agencies. You will partner with colleagues in the United States and abroad to cover global developments.
This is a hybrid position based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office each week per your departmental guidance.
