The Aurora Beacon News, a suburban Chicago newspaper, has stated a daily business news page, according to an announcement in Tuesday’s paper.
The announcement stated, “This page will run Tuesday through Saturday on the inside back page of the A Section. It will contain the Market in Review you see at left, as well as a half-page of business news of the day.
“Our full, six-page Business section appears in Sunday’s paper, with features and in-depth looks at local businesses and trends, Malcolm Berko’s column and three full pages of stock market listings.
“Now we can spread some of that wealth during the week.
“Here’s what you get:
“• A quicker look at the day’s stock market reports. The Dow, the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, market indexes, money rates and mutual funds — all in a quick, easy-to-read, fast-paced format.
“• More stocks of local interest. Want to know what’s happening with Old Second National Bank? It’s right here. And we’ve added more stocks of local interest to the package.
“• More local business news. Our business section isn’t just for Sundays anymore. We’ll bring you a mix of local, state and national business news six days a week.”
