Sportico strikes content deal with Bloomberg

Sports business news site Sportico has struck a deal with Bloomberg News to provide its content to the financial news service’s readers.

Sportico was launched in 2020 by Penske Media Corp., and is led by former Bloomberg News sports business reporter Scott Soshnick.

Soshnick spent 27 years at Bloomberg News and established himself as the one of the nation’s leading and most respected sports business reporters. He was responsible for spearheading Bloomberg’s sports business coverage and co-hosted a “Business of Sports” radio show and self-created podcast.

“Sportico is thrilled to share our unrivaled sports business news, data and analysis with Bloomberg ‘s elite audience, which includes the most sophisticated minds in global finance,” said Soshnick in an email. “It’s a perfect match.”

Last month, Sportico added two editorial staffers as part of its acquisition of The Intercollegiate, which covers college sports
