Martin to lead Bloomberg’s coverage of IMF and World Bank

Bloomberg staffer Eric Martin will be leaving Mexico for Washington to lead coverage of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.

His new role begins in early 2020, according to his tweet.

He will also be covering and writing about the economics of Latin America including Mexico and the relationship with U.S.

Previously, Martin has held the roles of international trade reporter, emerging markets editor, U.S. stocks reporter and U.S. stocks editor at Bloomberg. He has also worked as a business reporter at The Indianapolis Star.

Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and history from Northwestern University.
