Dell Cameron, a senior reporter at tech news site Gizmodo, has been hired by Wired magazine as a senior policy writer.
He will start Jan. 9. His last day at Gizmodo is Friday.
Cameron has been at Gizmodo since May 2017, covering tech policy and national security. He previously worked at The Daily Dot covering cybercrime, national security and surveillance.
Earlier this year, he was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting for his work on police use of “crime prediction” software. He has also won two Society of Professional Journalists national awards for his reporting.
