Rania Oteify has been named business editor at the Seattle Times.
She has been deputy business editor since January 2024 and previously was an assistant business editor.
Oteify also worked for Reuters in Dubai and as business features editor for Gulf News in Dubai. She was also a senior writer for Business Today Egypt.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ain Shams University.
