Piltch hired as US editor for The Register

Avram Piltch has been hired as U.S. news editor for The Register, a tech publication.

He had spent nearly 18 years at Tom’s Hardware, including the last seven years as editor in chief.

He also spent nine years at About.c0m.

Piltch holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and a master’s degree from New York University.
