Chester Dawson has been named Bloomberg News senior editor for global business coverage for the Asia Pacific region.
Dawson has been senior editor for autos, airlines and space coverage since March 2024. He has been with Bloomberg News since February 2019.
Dawson previously spent more than eight years at The Wall Street Journal covering automakers. He was also a Tokyo correspondent and international finance editor at BusinessWeek.
Dawson, who also worked at Bloomberg News, the Associated Press and the Far Eastern Economic Review, hold a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
