I’m pleased to announce that Natalie Choy will be joining us as our newest member of Breaking News Global Watch Asia. She’ll be based in Singapore, responsible for all local coverage there as well as international wires and social media monitoring.
Nat’s a Singaporean native who has been covering banking and financial news for The Business Times. A communications major from Nanyang Technological University, she’s also reported on a range of ESG topics including sustainable finance and is interested in the fast-changing regulation of digital banking and payments. Natalie is looking forward to covering a wide range of global topics and asset classes in Breaking News, along with having the challenge and adrenaline rush of the new and unfamiliar.
In her spare time, Natalie loves playing with her two bull terriers, and used to teach HIIT classes before Covid-19 was in full force. She enjoys all things outdoors, and is a big tennis fan.
She’ll be sitting near Derek in the Singapore office, who is keenly awaiting to continue the tradition of Krispy Kremes (or equivalent) upon an editor sending their first HOT headline, so please say hi to her and make her feel welcome!
