KUOW, a NPR member station in Seattle, has promoted Eilis O’Neill to the post of public health reporter. She joined the station over 6 years ago.
She has previously also worked at KALW in San Francisco and WAMU in D.C. She has also worked freelance for radio programs like The World and Marketplace. She has also worked as a radio reporter in South America and New York City.
Additionally, her work has appeared in NPR, The Nation and other outlets.
O’Neill has a degree in English and Spanish from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in science, environment and health journalism from Columbia University.
