Hearst Television has tapped Kimberly Eller to serve as news director for its TV station WJCL-TV Ch. 22, an ABC-affiliate in Savannah, Ga.
Eller joined Hearst as assistant news director for KSBW-TV Ch. 8 an ABC and NBC affiliate in Salinas, Calif. She then held the same post for Hearst’s WGAL-TV Ch. 8, an NBC station in Lancaster, Pa.
Previously, she was an executive producer at the CBS station WBTV-TV Ch. 3 in Charlotte, N.C. Before that, she spent more than 18 years at WDBJ-TV Ch. 7, a CBS affiliate in Roanoke, Va. There, she held the posts of associate producer, producer and executive producer.
Eller is an Emmy award-winning journalist who has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a master’s degree from Hollins University in Virginia.
