At FoodPrint I’m in the market for some freelancers! I am looking for pitches as well as new folks to assign pieces to. We cover a wide range of food-related topics focused on sustainability: industry trends, food waste, food policy, the negative impacts of the industrial food system, solutions for a more sustainable system as well as more sustainable personal practices all through the lens of foodprint (the effects of food on people, animals, and the environment).
ABOUT THE COMPANY
FoodPrint helps its readers make food choices that do less harm to the environment, animals and people. It uncovers problems with the industrial food system and offers practical advice and examples of more sustainable practices.
ABOUT PITCHES
Pitches should include a description of the subject matter and your take/approach, including a description of who you would talk to for it and examples of people/organizations/companies you might track/follow. Please also include a link to some of your prior work.
And definitely check out our site first.
It is a fairly good representation of our content, style, tone and approach. FoodPrint is focused on the US food system, so please only pitch stories based in the US.
