McCreesh departs NY Times for NY Magazine

Shawn McCreesh

Shawn McCreesh is joining the New York Magazine as a features writer covering media, politics and power, reports Politico.

Recently, he was an editorial assistant to New York Times’ Maureen Dowd.

Previously, McCreesh was also an editorial assistant at Men’s Journal magazine at Wenner Media and was an editorial intern at Rolling Stone Magazine. He has also interned at amNewYork.

McCreesh has a B.S. in journalism from St. John’s University.
