The Wisconsin State Journal in Madison has hired Emilie Heidemann to be a business reporter.
She has been at Wisconsin Media Group since 2018 and serves as the community and business editor for four publications, as well as a quarterly magazine. Heidemann also covers the Village of Oregon and Fitchburg community beat.
Heidemann was previously a reporter and assistant editor at the Lodi Enterprise and Poynette Press.
She is a graduate of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
