Winnipeg Free Press hires Durrani to cover economics

Temur Durrani

Temur Durrani has joined Winnipeg Free Press as a reporter covering the economic impact of the pandemic. His funding comes from the Local Journalism Initiative.

Currently, Durrani is an enterprise reporter at Brunswick News Inc. Before that, he was a staff writer at iPolitics Canada. He has also served as a news editor at Charlatan Publications Inc. and as a staff reporter at Toronto Star.

In addition, he has held the posts of magazine intern and news intern at Dawn News and The Express Tribune, respectively.

Durrani holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and law from Carleton University.
