Evan Rosenberg has been hired as the new publisher of the Pittsburgh Business Times, an American City Business Journals paper.
Jennifer Beahm of the Business Times writes, “Rosenberg joins PBT after having spent nearly 20 years at CBS-owned television stations KDKA and WPCW, most recently as local sales manager and director of sports marketing. Currently, he is responsible for local revenue at the stations, including their digital efforts plus revenue associated with the Pittsburgh Steelers, NCAA basketball, PGA golf and other sports-related programming.
“Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Rosenberg is a graduate of Temple University. He brings to PBT broad Pittsburgh business contacts and a life-long affinity for the market and region.
“His first day with PBT will be July 17.
“‘I’m super-excited to be here,’ Rosenberg said. ‘I’m from here and have been through the ups and downs. I think the Business Times should be a part of that discussion and part of that positive change and part of that growth.'”
