Reuters Legal hires Law360’s Jones to cover legal industry

Reuters Legal has hired Law360 senior reporter Diana Novak Jones to cover the legal industry.

She will also help out on the Daily Docket newsletter.

Jones has been the senior cannabis reporter based in Denver. She has been with Law360 since October 2015 and previously was a Chicago-based courts reporter.

She previously worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, and during the last year there blogged and wrote stories for the Sun-Times’ health and wellness portal.

Jones is a Northwestern University graduate.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
