Gary Adkisson, the publisher of the Carlisle Sentinel in Pennsylvania, writes about its plans to launch a new monthly business magazine, the Cumberland Valley Business Journal.
Adkisson writes, “The CVBJ will have its own editor since its mission is clearly different from that of The Sentinel.
“The CVBJ will have a targeted readership made up of approximately 7,000 business owners, managers, and leaders as well as elected officials and local government leaders. Additional copies will be available at no charge in key locations county-wide.
“We are in the process of securing sponsoring advertisers who see the value of communicating business to business.
“Each issue of the CVBJ will focus on the issues and topics the chambers and CAEDC define in their strategic plans. There will be several columnists, some local and some national, as well as feature stories on area businesses.”
