Kevin Orland, the Calgary bureau chief at Bloomberg News, is moving to Toronto to cover banking for the news organization.
He has been the Canadian energy reporter for Bloomberg.
He has been with Bloomberg since October 2003, originally starting as a general assignment reporter. He was also commodities editor and commodities team leader, and he spent 15 month as the industrial deputy team leader and 14 months as the autos deputy team leader.
He previously worked for the Associated Press in Milwaukee for 18 months.
Orland has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marquette University and an MBA from Benedictine University.
