NBC News, STAT, CNN Business win Eppy Awards

The following winners have been named winners in the annual EPPY Awards for digital media:

Best Business Reporting on a Website with 1-million unique monthly visitors and over went to “NBC News Reporting Series: The Paycheck Protection Program” by NBC News. The finalists were Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg News.

Best Business Reporting on a Website from a Website with under 1-million unique monthly visitors went to “The Pandemic: An Historic Business Story” by STAT. The finalists included ReligionUnplugged.com.

The Best Business / Finance Website with 1-million unique monthly visitors and over went to CNN Business.

The Best Business / Finance Website with under 1-million unique monthly visitors went to STAT: A Must Read in Business STAT also won the award for best overall website with less than 1 million unique monthly visitors.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
