Sally Shin, executive editor of business, tech and media unit, NBC News, is departing.
Shin is a veteran NBC News journalist having been with the network for more than 11 years. She has also served as a segment producer, coordinating producer, senior producer and San Francisco bureau chief at CNBC.
She was also a board member at Urban Light and a production assistant at Bloomberg.
She is also a young global leader at the World Economic Forum.
Shin is a B.A. in economics and journalism from New York University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University – Columbia Business School.
