Paul Takahashi has been hired by the Houston Chronicle as a real estate reporter.
He started on Monday. He was previously covering real estate for the Houston Business Journal.
In an email to the staff, Chronicle editor Nancy Barnes wrote, “Paul has shown himself to be a superb reporter on the beat for the past three years at the Houston Business Journal.”
Before joining the Business Journal, Takahashi was a staff reporter for the Las Vegas Sun for four years, covering education. He also held editorial positions at The Jersey Journal in New Jersey and The Times in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He earned both master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
