Dan Hirschhorn, the digital editorial director at Barron’s, is leaving the publication at the end of the month.

On Twitter, Hirschhorn said, “The last year and change here have been incredible: challenging, fulfilling and joyous in all the best ways.”

He has been responsible for maximizing and optimizing Barron’s reach across digital platforms and overseeing the news editing desk.

Hirschhorn joined Barron’s in July 2018 as managing editor of news.

He previously was the director of news at Time and Time Inc., where over the course of five years he built Time’s first-ever digital news desk and expanded it to serve more than a dozen Time Inc. brands.

Earlier in his career he was a political reporter for Politico and The Daily, and his work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Post.
