American Banker reporter Rachel Witkowski has been hired by Forbes Advisor as an assistant editor.
She has been in American Banker’s Washington Bureau covering OCC, FDIC, fintech regulation and anti-money laundering.
She previously covered mortgages and housing for Bankrate.com. Before that, she reported on bank regulation and financial technology at The Wall Street Journal since February 2016. Prior to that, she worked at American Banker for more than five years covering community banks and the federal regulatory agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Witkowski graduated from the University of North Florida with a double major in print and broadcast journalism.
