The Redding Record Searchlight in California has cut its daily stock listings beginning with Monday’s newspaper, according to a short item in the paper.
It’s just one of many changes at the newspaper.
The story stated, “To create more room for stories on business, we’re reducing the number of stocks listings by about half. We’ll continue to run a full report on mutual funds on Sundays and for those who want to check their stocks at any hour, our online financial report is just the ticket. Check it out at marketwatch.redding.com.
“If you find your stock missing from the daily report, we can add it in — just send the stock name, ticker symbol and exchange on which it’s traded to ncarter@redding.com, or call us at 225-8211.”
