Bloomberg Pursuits launches new site

Bloomberg Pursuits revealed a new-look website on Thursday that emphasizes photography.

The aesthetic and typography are much closer to the look of the magazine. The site’s cascading design pulls the eye down the page through all of our content-rich sections, ever downward, through an auto-playing video module, several rich ad units, to even more stories and photo essays.

On article pages, Bloomberg Pursuits adopted a dark, lux palate that emphasizes the color in the imagery.

And then the luxury personal finance site re-organized its section pages to make them more attractive and straightforward — they now serve as  introductions to its coverage of Food & Drink, Cars & Bikes, Style, Watches & Gadgets, Property, and Art & Culture.

Bloomberg Pursuits online has grown to a monthly audience of over 3 million unique users. Unique visits are up 127 percent year over year from February 2015 to February 2016.
