Jensen Werley, formerly a business reporter with the Jacksonville Business Journal in Florida, has joined BizWest in Colorado as a reporter.
A story on its website states, “Werley spent three years at the Jacksonville Business Journal, owned by American City Business Journals and a sister publication to the Denver Business Journal.
“At BizWest, Werley will cover technology and startups — two beats that she covered in Jacksonville — as well as the natural-products, outdoor and cannabis industries.
”I was extremely impressed with what Jensen accomplished in Jacksonville,’ said BizWest editor and publisher Christopher Wood. ‘Her experience covering technology and startups, as well as manufacturing, sustainability, energy and other sectors, will serve her well in the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado. She’s already had an impact.’
“Werley graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science degree in journalism and a bachelor of arts degree in sustainability studies.”
