He had been at ALM Media for the past year. Before that, Thomas spent four years at the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. He was also associate editor of Inside U.S. Trade. He was also a reporter at the DeKalb Daily Chronicle.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
