Andrew Mendez has joined the Silicon Valley Business Journal as a reporter to cover startup, venture capital, and small business.
Recently, he was a multimedia reporting fellow at TechCrunch.
Previously, Mendez interned at KUNR-FM 88.7, NPR’s radio station owned and operated by the University of Nevada, Los Angeles Times and Reno Gazette-Journal. He freelanced for The Santiago Times.
He held the posts of assistant news editor, Spanish language editor and editor in chief at The Nevada Sagebrush, University of Nevada’s student newspaper.
Mendez graduated from the University of Nevada.
