Reuters names Savage as Africa senior markets correspondent

Rachel Savage

Reuters has appointed Rachel Savage as its Africa senior markets correspondent covering African markets and finance.

She joins from Thomson Reuters Foundation, where she was a deputy editor and reporter. She has also worked freelance. Savage has also worked as East Africa correspondent and then as West Africa correspondent at The Economist.

She was also a web reporter and web editor at Management Today. She has also interned at the Financial Times and Bloomberg.

Savage is a University of Oxford graduate.
