The (Raleigh) News & Observer business reporter Lars Dolder is moving to political coverage to be editor of its The Insider.
He has been covering retail and main street businesses and helping out with other stories on business desk.
Dolder was previously at the Chatham (N.C.) News & Record for the past year as a staff reporter specializing in state and municipal governments, police and feature writing. He also has been writing a weekly business column, “Enterprising Chatham.”
Dolder previously was a ghostwriter of finance books for financial executives. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University in mathematics.
