Miami Herald business reporter Rob Wile has been hired by NBC Digital to cover business news.
He will remain based in Miami.
Wile has been at the Herald for the past four years covering business, tech, and the economy in South Florida. In 2020, he won a SABEW Best in Business award for real estate coverage titled “Priced out of Paradise.”
He previously worked for Business Insider, Fusion Media Network, The New Tropic and Money magazine.
He is a graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and Columbia University.
