Milwaukee Biz Journal reporter Naczek departs

Margaret Naczek

Margaret Naczek, a reporter the Milwaukee Business Journal, has left the publication to join Punch PR as a senior account executive in Milwaukee.

She joined the Business Journal in August 2019 and covered sports business, craft beer, manufacturing and tourism reporter.

Naczek had previously been a sports reporter with USA Today Network-Wisconsin where she covered local sports in the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area.

She graduated from Arizona State University with a master’s in sports journalism and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and Polish language and culture.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
