Jonnelle Marte, who has been covering the Federal Reserve and the economy for Reuters, is leaving the news organization for a new opportunity.
She had been at Reuters since September 2019.
Marte previously worked at The Washington Post writing about wealth and retirement. She also worked at MarketWatch, where she was the lead writer for the tax blog and wrote often about the economy and the impact of the health care law on employers and consumers.
Before MarketWatch, Marte wrote for the Wall Street Journal Sunday, often on employment and consumer trends, and held internships at the Boston Globe, Detroit News and Miami Herald.
