E&E News has hired Houston Chronicle reporter Shelby Webb to cover oil and gas.
Webb will start Jan. 31.
She has been the renewable energy reporter on the Houston Chronicle business news desk.
Webb previously covered suburban education for the paper. Webb previously worked as an education reporter with the Sarasota Herald-Tribune in Florida from 2013 to 2016 and attended the University of Florida.
Webb was part of the Chronicle team that was a 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist for Breaking News Reporting for covering Hurricane Harvey and its immediate aftermath.
