Chicago Biz Journal hires Zorn as a reporter

Alex Zorn

The Chicago Business Journal has hired Alex Zorn as a reporter.

Managing editor Annlee Ellingson writes, “He will focus on covering commercial real estate and economic development, as well as technology and innovation, in the Chicago area.

“Prior to joining the Chicago Business Journal, Zorn worked as a health care reporter for Skilled Nursing News, covering the long-term care industry. He has also covered the city beat, crime and courts at several print publications in Colorado and Nebraska, including the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.

“‘I was glad to hire a reporter with Alex’s talents,’ said Ed Stych, editor of the Chicago Business Journal and Chicago Inno. ‘Growing up in Chicago and working as a business reporter in the city for the last year gives him an advantage in covering the city and breaking news stories.'”
