The studio is hosting “Bloomberg: The Asia Trade” for a week of programming, hosted by anchors Shery Ahn on location and Haidi Stroud-Watts in Sydney.
The new studio facility features a streamlined technology solution to enable both on-demand rapid news contribution for evolving stories and capacity to support a fully live, multi-camera production with high resolution LED displays.
“With Korea being one of Asia’s largest economies, playing a key role in setting technological and cultural trends, we are pleased to invest in greater coverage in this important market,” said Nicholas Killham, Bloomberg head of Asia TV, in a statement. “The new Seoul studio will complement our existing broadcast hubs in Asia and further boost Bloomberg Television’s ability to report on the stories that matter to our global audience.”
