Bloomberg hires Griffis to cover telecom

Kelcee Griffis

Bloomberg News has hired Kelcee Griffis to cover the telecom industry, including the Federal Communications Commission.

She has been at Morning Brew for the past year covering emerging technology.

Griffis previously worked at Bloomberg Law covering intellectual property.

She has also been Law360’s resident telecom reporter, covering communications regulation for the legal trade publication. Her reporting includes everything telecom and Federal Communications Commission, from net neutrality to media mergers to spectrum auctions.

Griffis previously worked at My Modern Met as a writer and at the Business Report of North Central Florida as a reporter.

She is a University of Florida graduate.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
