BizTimes reporter Zank departs for new job

Alex Zank

Alex Zank, a reporter for BizTimes in Milwaukee, has left to become an insurance news reporter with Front Page News.

He will start his new job on Monday.

Zank has been covering commercial and residential real estate for BizTimes, which he joined in December 2018. He previously was a reporter for The Daily Journal/Wisconsin Law Journal in Milwaukee and a reporter for the West Bend Daily News.

He was also a copy editor and page designer for The Country Today, an agricultural publication.

Zank holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
