Victor Galvan, the web editor for Automotive News at Crain Communications Inc. since March 2000, has left due to the corporate layoffs.
Galvan had contributed to the publication since its inception.
Prior to this role, he worked as assistant city editor at the Detroit Free Press from November 1992 to March 2000 and held a similar position at the Dallas Times Herald from November 1990 to January 1992, which was subsequently sold and closed shortly after acquisition.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Sam Houston State University.
