
Judy Lagrou will join the U.S. equities team at Bloomberg News after a year in its rotational program.
She will begin on Nov. 2.
Lagrou will report on breaking market news and write analytical stories on positioning, liquidity, earnings, volatility and investor sentiment. She will also write the daily stock market wrap and contribute to the Taking Stock column. As a rotating reporter, Lagrou covered crypto, earnings, and retail. She also worked as a producer for multiple shows on Bloomberg Television.
Lagrou appears regularly on Bloomberg Radio. She leads Stock Movers segments, contributes to the Bloomberg Daybreak podcast, and fills in as co-host of Bloomberg Surveillance and Bloomberg Intelligence.
She joined Bloomberg as a summer intern in 2025 and covered the U.S. stock market. Lagrou previously interned at CNBC. Before becoming a journalist, she was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley.
Lagrou earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree from Harvard University. She also studied business journalism at New York University.
