Samantha Liebman has joined Spectrum News NY1 as a transportation reporter to cover the New York City subways and buses.
Liebman freelanced for News 12, Fox News Media, 1010 WINS, New England Cable News and Conde Nast’s men’s shopping magazine Cargo.
She worked as an anchor and reporter at NY1 News from 2008 to 2011. She also worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at WLUC-TV Ch. 6, an NBC and Fox affiliate in Marquette, Mich.
She interned at ABC station WPBF-TV Ch. 25 in West Palm Beach, Fla., and at WPLG-TV Ch. 10, an ABC affiliate in Miami.
An Emmy-nominated reporter, Liebman has a B.A. from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and an M.A. in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami, School of Communication.
