The New York Times received five Online Journalism Awards and had six finalists, with the awards being given by the Online News Association.
“This list of well-deserved winners shows the consistent journalistic strength that runs across so many different kinds of stories,” NYT assistant masthead editor Steve Duenes said. “The shape of each of these projects is just right, and the variety on the list is really representative of the digital range that The Times produces routinely.”
