ITV News appoints de Botton head of U.K. news

Amber de Botton

Amber de Botton is now head of UK news at ITV News. Previously, she served as head of politics.

Prior to joining ITV News, she was deputy head of politics at Sky News, and has worked as a political correspondent and then as a political editor at Total Politics. She was also a parliamentary reporter at Dods Group PLC.

De Botton was also a press officer at the Greater London Authority and a script assistant at Sky News. She has also served as an assistant director at Underbelly Limited.

De Botton is a B.A. in history and politics from the University of Durham.
