Entertainment Weekly hires Russell as news writer

Shania Russell

Shania Russell has joined Entertainment Weekly as a news writer. She has been working freelance with her work appearing in Paste Magazine, WhatToWatch, ButWhyThoPC, and Film Daze.

Recently, Russell was a news writer at SlashFilm.com, where she pitched and wrote news articles and features on pop culture, movies and TV.

Russell graduated from Macalester College in Minnesota, where she worked as a writing assistant and writing tutor.
