Bradley Davis has joined Insider as the director of business news.
At Business Insider, he will lead a team of editors and reporters who produce breaking news, analysis and originally reported consumer-focused stories across the organization’s business verticals, including tech, retail, transportation, media, strategy and advertising.
Davis most recently was the deputy business editor at the New York Post. Previously, he led the business and local government teams at the Warren Buffett-owned Omaha World-Herald, where his team won SABEW’s General Excellence award in 2016.
He also has been an editor at Bloomberg News and before that was a reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal, where he last was digital editor for markets and finance. While at the Journal, he also wrote occasional columns for sister publication Barron’s.
Originally from Omaha, Davis is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; he has a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
