Wall Street Journal reporter Katherine Blunt is shifting to a new beat covering Google and Alphabet and how artificial intelligence changes how we search for information.

“My focus is shifting, but power will continue to be a big part of the story,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “Expect more from me on the data center boom and its implications for the grid.”

Blunt has been covering energy for The Journal for the past six years. She previously worked at The Houston Chronicle covering energy and retail.

She also worked for the San Antonio Express-News covering transportation.

Blunt is a graduate of Elon University.
